The Duchin Bar Supervisor assists the manager with coordinating workers' activities selling alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. The Duchin Bar Supervisor oversees all bar operations while on duty and acts as the deputy manager when the manager is absent.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Works with the Manager on a weekly work roster and schedule.
• Monitors stock levels of liquors, wines, or other beverages and supplies and notifies the Manager of needs.
• Responds to customer’s complaints concerning beverage standards and service. Inform the Manager of such complaints.
• Inspects establishments and observes workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards and local liquor regulations.
• Provides guidance and supervision to bartenders and cocktail staff. Ensures their daily duties are performed satisfactorily.
• Opens and closes the bar.
• Collects and counts bank from the Cashier’s Office.
• In charge of putting together weekly beer and liquor orders; must also be in charge of inventory control.
• Create daily cocktail specials and seasonal cocktail menus.
• Train bar staff.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe bar and lounge area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry 
• Possess a friendly, cheerful, proactive, and helpful attitude. 
• Ability to follow directions. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Must be 21 years of age or older. 
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods. 
• While performing this job, the employee must walk, use hands, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. 
• Must safely move objects up to approximately 75 pounds about the workplace.
