Location: Beloit Wisconsin

Registered Nurse Consultant Responsibilities:

· Delegates Medication Administration

· Successfully gather, review, read, and evaluate all medical records, notes, and reports to determine and diagnose a resident’s health problem or condition.

· Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical or mental health to the appropriate staff members.

. Responsible for psychotropic reviews as needed and quarterly.

· Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and reassessment of each resident.

· Assures the personal dignity and physical safety of each resident.

· Maintains open and ongoing communication with residents, physicians, and families, providing opportunity and encouragement to participate in decision making.

· Assist with processing of physician orders as needed.

· Evaluates and adjusts treatment plans based on resident’s condition.

. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation

. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

· All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Dedication to working with older adults.

· Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with residents.

· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

· Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, including medical record documentation

· Prior experience as a Registered Nurse Consultant in an assisted living facility preferred

· Strong work ethic

· Excellent standard of care for residents

· Team Player

· Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

· Demonstrate a positive attitude.

- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health record systems

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
