Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This is a critical role within our organization, as payroll is a fundamental function that impacts every employee.

Duties:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and verification
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees
- Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Process tax withholdings, deductions, and garnishments accurately
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Generate payroll reports for management review
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Assist with audits related to payroll processes

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software for accurate data management
- Experience with payroll systems such as Paychex
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly in relation to payroll and accounts payable
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external stakeholders
