We are actively seeking a dedicated full-time Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our team at www.sundentalbellevue.com. At Sun Dental Bellevue, we have a great team and a nice facility to work with! If you have a passion for dentistry, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and a positive attitude, you might be the ideal candidate we're looking for.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and record patients' vital signs and medical history
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform routine dental office cleaning and basic laboratory tasks
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Consistent Attendance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification
- Registered Dental Assistant (Required)
- Dental assisting: minimum 1 year (Preferred), new graduates are encouraged to apply. We're open to training passionate individuals who are committed to learning.
- Experience with Dentrix software (Preferred)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Office Hours: Monday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 5: 00 pm; Thursday 7:00 am to 1:00 pm Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
