Provide individualized programming and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings including the clinic, home, and in the community. These programs will include teaching new skills in order to enhance independent living, communication, socialization, career development, and coping strategies.
Complete Functional Behavior Assessments based on record reviews, observation, and interviews and develop Behavior Intervention Plans
Model procedures and appropriate responses to targeted behaviors
Train and give feedback to staff to ensure program validity
Collect accurate data during all sessions and report changes and collaborate with BCBA to modify programming
Attend all required trainings and meetings

Willingness to learn new therapeutic skills, focusing on naturalistic intervention in typical settings
Ability to be flexible and problem solve in the moment
Concerned with ethical implementation of behavior plans and honest reporting on all reports and logs
Physically able to perform job responsibilities (active movement, lifting up to 40 lbs.)

Timely
Credentialled Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) through the BACB.
A Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in psychology, education, communication disorders, special education, behavior analysis or a related program
Preferred - 2 years working with individuals with disabilities providing either ABA therapy, or special education services as a teaching assistant, therapist or teacher OR enrolled in a BCBA program
