We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our integrated high performance mobile data centers team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration, troubleshooting, and automation of complex systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, and exhibit proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python. The Candidate will also possess Networking skills primarily in a Cisco Environment.

Responsibilities

• System Integration:
• Integrate and maintain Linux and Windows-based software and hardware systems to ensure optimal functionality and compatibility.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert on Operating Systems (Windows and Linux)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Network Engineers, Hardware Engineers, and other System Integrators to design and implement efficient and scalable solutions.
• Problem Identification and Resolution:
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to fielded assets or assets in development.
• Implement challenging user stories and features that could be a matter of life or death for a warfighter into a form factor and resource constrained environment.
• Develop and implement proactive measures to identify and address potential problems before they impact system performance.
• Automation:
• Create and maintain scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and Python to automate routine tasks and streamline system processes.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies through automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Security certification or ability to acquire one within the first six months of employment.
• Expert-level proficiency in Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of networking principles and protocols.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with Kernel Modules on any flavor of Linux
