Summit Sothebys International Realty is Hiring an Administrative Assistant - Property Management Near Park, UT

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Property Management Assistant in our Park City office. As a Property Management Assistant, you will provide support to the property management team and assist in various administrative and operational tasks related to the management of residential or commercial properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in property management and gaining valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of property management, including tenant relations, property inspections, and maintenance coordination.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate problems to the appropriate team members when necessary.
  • Conduct property showings and assist in the leasing process, including drafting lease agreements, collecting rental applications, and performing background checks.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of leases, tenant communications, maintenance requests, and other property-related documentation.
  • Coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance tasks with contractors and vendors, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Assist in the marketing and advertising of vacant properties, including creating online listings and coordinating with marketing teams.
  • Assist with move-in and move-out procedures, conducting inspections and documenting any damages or necessary repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a similar field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, contractors, and team members.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Google Suites, Monday and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Basic understanding of property management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing industry regulations and best practices.
  • Resident of Summit or Wasatch County preferred.
