Summit Pointe is Hiring a Quality Assurance Lead Near Battle Creek, MI

FLSA: Exempt/Non-Union

Reports to: Corporate Compliance Director

Job Summary/Objective:

The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for the continued development, implementation, and reinforcement of the Summit Pointe Management System. The Quality Assurance Lead acts as a member of the Compliance and Quality Assurance team.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Supporting the Corporate Compliance Director to direct work within the team, which includes, when needed, customer service assistance.
  • Assist with oversight of department staff scheduling, 1:1’s.
  • Facilitation of the Compliance and Quality Assurance L1 board.
  • Prepare data needed and other applicable resources to implement Kaizen events.
  • Facilitate and provide oversight of quality improvement activities in association with team key performance indicators (KPIs) that support the Summit Pointe Management System.
  • Complete quarterly MMBPIS reporting and submission to SWMBH.
  • Assist the Corporate Compliance Director in external audit preparation, as well as CARF survey preparation.
  • Support and back up for the Compliance program, which includes privacy monitoring, investigations, risk assessment, and workplan completion.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy as outlined in State and Federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a behavioral health related field.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-directed and resourceful.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft applications, as well as electronic medical records.
  • Two years’ experience in the behavioral health field, with a background in auditing and monitoring.

Trauma Informed System of Care:

A trauma-informed approach to service delivery emphasizes physical and emotional safety, choice, empowerment, and trustworthiness for customers. The impact of trauma is broad and touches many life domains. Participation is mandatory for activities required for Summit Pointe to become a “Trauma Informed System of Care.”

Physical Requirements:

  • Professional office environment that generates noise from computer equipment/peripherals.
  • Possible exposure to health risks (violence and infectious diseases).
  • Sometimes lifts, carries, or moves objects up to 25 lbs.
  • May be required to work variable hours/shifts.
