About the team:

Leads therapy staff in developing and maintaining a state-of-the-art health and wellness focused therapy services program. Works closely with primary care and ancillary services staff as part of an integrated model of care that supports community health and wellness. Responsible for growing and enhancing both inpatient and outpatient programs that meet Summit standards for quality and service. Maintains a positive work environment that promotes Summit Pacific values to ensure Summit is the “best place I’ve ever worked.”

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Two years of supervisory experience  
  • Four years of professional-level experience; inpatient and outpatient experience preferred.
  • Business/program development experience preferred.

Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registration:

  1. Current and unrestricted WA State PT or OT License
  2. BLS Certification required within 3 months of hire

Job Specific Duties:

  1. Manages therapy (PT, OT, Speech, Nutrition, Cardiac Rehab) & fitness services to ensure consistent delivery of quality patient-centered care and efficient operations in support of hospital goals and objectives.
  2. Identifies needs and opportunities for therapy and fitness programming to support the District’s mission and vision.
  1. Therapy Services: Leads the development, implementation, ongoing assessment and improvement of clinical services and programs, patient-care protocols, standards of care, financial performance, and related policies and procedures in all assigned areas. Monitors outcomes; identifies opportunities/gaps and initiates appropriate enhancements and/or corrections.
  2. Fitness Services and Programs: Leads research, development, design and implementation of non-clinical and retail services/programs from ideation through implementation. Ensures program policies, procedures and protocols are developed and maintained. Continuously monitors outcomes and initiates enhancements or corrections as indicated.
  1. Optimizes the use of therapy and gym space for both patient care and fitness services.
  1. Actively promotes Summit Pacific Therapy & Fitness Services. Works with the Marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and materials.
  2. Pursues new business partnerships/opportunities to supplement Summit Pacific programming. In partnership with Events & Community Program Coordinator, researches and sources partners to provide fitness programs/classes that address community needs/wants. Manages partner relationships and contracts, and works closely with Events & Community Program Coordinator and other stakeholders on logistics as needed.
  1. Develops comprehensive business plans, forecasts and models. Manages and prepares data and reports; applies appropriate methods to assess potential new programs/services and to monitor and evaluate current programs/services.
  2. Delivers high-quality care within the scope of licensure meeting licensing and credentialing requirements.
  3. Engages with both internal and external partners to advance the SPMC mission and vision. Participates in professional groups/associations. Participates in or leads SPMC work groups, projects and committees as assigned.
  4. Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.

Compensation is $107,540.88 to 179,234.79 annually, depending on experience.
