Summit Medical Group is seeking an IT Architect to join their team. This is a Full time opportunity.

Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned)

• Interface with IT Management, other IT Architects and Analysts, external 3rd party consultants, and members of various IT and project teams to deliver enterprise solutions as a business and IT shared service.
• Define solutions in a complex and diversified business environment to aggregate and integrate data from dozens of sources throughout SMG.
• Translates business requirements into detailed solution architectures and future state process models.
• Manage the delivery of IT solution designs based on Product Release Cycles and processes.
• Assist in the definition of an IT Product integration development and testing strategy and methodology to support business and IT projects.
• Provide guidance and signoff on IT Product solution concepts across the enterprise based on Architecture standards and guidelines.
• Promote the benefits of architecture, integration, cloud and other leading edge concepts among projects and project teams.
• Continually review and suggest improvement to the solution architecture processes, policies, and vision and explore new and emerging technologies. Lead the investigation and adaptation of beneficial solution architecture technologies and tools.
• Develop, maintain, and provide status reports on project progress metrics for executive management and team members.
• Conceptualize, capture requirements, design, prototype, engineer, test, and deploy the SMG end-to-end architecture, and selected subsystems within the architecture, including IT hardware, software, and networking platform and infrastructure for SMG.
• Evaluates options for and make solution configuration recommendations for selected subsystems within the IT architecture.
• Implements, and supports the SMG IT Architecture for local and distributed business systems applications and services.
• Participates in the IT Architecture capacity planning, run-time operational and performance profiling / monitoring / reporting, risk evaluation and management in conjunction with IS management.
• Recommend modifications and reconfigurations to the Architecture as volumes of users, devices, locations, transactions, and backend platform device complexity continues to increase.
• Coordinate project planning for the implementation of all new and modified Architecture with the appropriate vendors, IS staff, and customer implementation service team management.
• Interact with, and manages consultants as necessary, when called upon to do so by the IT Management.
• Assist the IT management in the developing and maintenance of an appropriate Disaster Recovery Plan for the corporation.
• Adhere to all elements of the established corporate compliance plan.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or other relative degree, from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education / experience in the computer science field. Minimum equivalent experience is defined as 5 years’ experience in the field of IT and 2years in the field health care.

Experience: Extensive experience with relevant hardware (personal computers, printers, etc.) and software applications, to include Windows, Unix, MS Office, Ethernet, and Exchange.
