Summit Medical Center is Hiring a HR Specialist Near Casper, WY

  1. Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  2. Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  3. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  4. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  5. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  6. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  7. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  8. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  9. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  10. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  11. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Including current licenses & certifications, and primary source verification.
  12. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  13. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  14. Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  15. Plans and conducts new hire orientation.

  2. Plan ahead, manage time well, arrive to work on time.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit, converse, and listen; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee must be able to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis and be able to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis.
  • The employee must be able to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day.
  • Routine duties using one or more of several established procedures within a prescribed practice under general supervision. Involves minor decisions, many of which are repetitive. Position requires close attention to detail. Occasional pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries.
  • Frequent contacts of a significant nature involving difficult negotiations and technical matters. Requires a high degree of diplomacy and tact.
