SUMMIT HOMES is Hiring a Community Manager Near Lees Summit, MO

What You’ll Do:

  • Interact with prospective homebuyers, homebuyers under contract, and homeowners in the community with a focus on delivering a world-class customer experience and attaining sales goals.
  • Greet visitors to our model sales centers, establish a relationship identifying the motivation for the visit, and provide information about the community design and amenities; homes, and available homesites; and overcomes objections to buying all based on that conversation.
  • Collect contact information from visitors and compiles a CRM database used to follow up with prospective buyers.
  • Drive the community and ensure that it looks presentable and meets the Summit Homes standards of presentation.
  • Speak to information on community and the area; types of homes and available floor plans; available homesites; the home owner’s association (HOA); utility providers; building restrictions; the advantages of building in a Summit Homes community; the location within the city; and drive times to popular destinations such as work centers, retail shopping, dining, medical care, schools, and entertainment.
  • Understand and be prepared to speak about standard features; floor plan features; product elevations; building specifications, building process steps, decorator materials and selections, product benefits, and more
  • Prepare sales contracts, understand the Summit Homes sales contract, and be able to speak knowledgeably about it with buyers.
  • Ensure that the sales center and model homes are stocked with up to date marketing collaterals consistently.
  • Communicate weekly with all contracted home buyers to bring them up to speed on the build process and discuss any concerns or anxiety they’re feeling to help them feel comfortable about their decision to build a home with Summit Homes.
  • Schedule and lead home design meetings with buyers within the first 10 days following signing a contract and record buyer selections on appropriate forms. Distribute said forms following policy.
  • Participate in the development and execution of property-based sales and marketing programs and promotions to drive sales and reach goals.
  • Participate in 12-week goal planning sessions, budget discussions, and product mix discussions.
  • Ensure that MLS data is up to date.
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

About You:

  • Be an ambassador of Summit Homes and ensures that we always put our best foot forward and that our community is a special place.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of the community including the available homesites, the product line, marketing, and sales promotion programs, the customer consultation and selling process, the design process, and the building process.
  • A minimum of an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and/or 3 years of experience in sales, retail, or a high contact in-person customer service position.
  • This position is primarily field-based in a model home sales office with additional time spent in the clover & hive office or on-site visiting Realtor offices.
  • Salaried position with bonus structure requiring a flexible schedule and weekend work.
  • Must have access to a vehicle and visit various Realtor offices from time to time.
  • May lift heavy objects from time to time up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be a self-starter, good communicator, quick learner, computer literate, and take initiative.
