Summit Helicopters Description

Summit Helicopters, an employee-owned company, is currently seeking candidates for both spray and utility operations. Summit Helicopters, Inc. conducts a variety of operations ranging from forestry spraying to Firefighting/Charters. Ideal candidates should be career minded team members for entry level positions for aircraft support. MUST be willing and able to travel throughout the lower 48.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Helicopter ground crew members will be responsible for refueling and loading aircraft.
• Maintain chase vehicles
• Scouting landing zones
• Help maintain safe work areas
• Fulfill general duties in support of the mission
• Mixing and handling herbicides

Required skills/Abilities:

• CDL is a plus
• Must be able to spend up to six weeks at a time on the road
• Must be able to exercise good judgement in a team environment as well as in aircraft operation and safety.
• Must have problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Must be willing to work in an environment that is subject to changing climate conditions and moderate noise levels and move items of 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Active, valid Driver’s License required.
• High school diploma, or GED required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background/drug and alcohol test prior to start. Will be enrolled in our random drug pool.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
