Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Report to the Building Director and assist/execute all activities assigned.

• Experience with carpentry, painting, plumbing and basic electrical knowledge.
• Must have experience operating a riding lawn mower, gas-powered string trimmer, hedge trimmer, gas-powered leaf blower and basic landscape maintenance.
• Communicate with and support other maintenance staff as needed.

• May be required to schedule contractor work at designated property and obtain quotes for special projects.

• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, etc.

• Ability to work in elevated areas with ladders, roofs, overhead lights.

Required skills/Abilities:

• Must have a clear understanding of safety in the workplace and the use of PPE.
• The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, hard-working, energetic and customer service oriented.

• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Must be able to lift and move items of 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Must be a US citizen with a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have a high school diploma, or GED.
• Class B CDL License with Hazmat Endorsement or willingness to achieve it a plus.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol tests prior to start. Will be enrolled in our random drug pool.
