JOB TITLE:Debt Management Representative-FNMA and Loans

Education requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent related work experience preferred.

Experience or Skill requirements:

• Fannie Mae experience a plus.
• Prior bank collection experience a plus.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
• Highly professional with advanced organizational skills, follow up and attention to detail.
• Highly professional in written and verbal communication.

Duties:

• Process Fannie Mae letters and monthly delinquency reporting.
• Complete Fannie Mae and loan account collection calls as required.
• Credit Card collections.
• Complete various past due notification letters.
• Process charge off request forms.
• Process Right to Cure notices.
• Attend and participate in weekly past due meetings.
• Prepare and email various reports.
• Process “CARM” (Collection and Asset Recovery Management) payments.
• Document all collection action in the CARM program.
• Utilize CARM ticklers for detailed and close follow up.
• Submit accounts for repossession
• Maintain repossession files, procure sales method and delivery of vehicles as needed.
• Process “VSI” (Vendor Single Insurance) claims.
• Process titles and affidavits for repossessed vehicles.
• Complete past due loan collection calls as needed.
• Scanning, filing, and other clerical duties as assigned.
• Minimal travel required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Relationships:

The Debt Management Representative will work with all members of the Debt Management Department, reporting directly to the Director of Debt Management. He/She will also work with all other lending staff including, but not limited to, Lenders, Loan Officer Assistants, and Loan Processing.
