Summit Communities is looking for a Fractional Procurement Specialist to help on a part-time, as needed, basis with the procurement and purchasing duties for a wide variety of services.

Primary responsibilities include researching key suppliers, negotiating agreements, and ensuring all products meet company standards.

Other responsibilities include:

• Determine the lowest cost for services and materials.
• Track and record orders.
• Analyze the market and delivery systems.
• Source and interview vendors.
• Conducting market research.
• Preparing and submitting bids.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and report on annualized savings.

Required qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in purchasing.
• 2 years of experience in negotiating contracts with suppliers and competitors.
• Prior experience with a variety of technologies, such as financial management systems and asset tracking databases.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
