Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and providing companionship.
Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Implement specialized care plans for individuals with dementia or autism
- Assist with hospice care for terminally ill clients
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, medication administration, social work, hospice care, and working with individuals with autism is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions and care plans accurately
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
