Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician will work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure that products are made and tested to the documented requirements and that safety rules are being followed. The primary responsibilities are to support training, document control, internal auditing and improvement activities.Job Duties will include:

1. Conduct revolving audits in manufacturing to ensure compliance to Quality Test Plans, Manufacturing standards and the Safety program.
2. Facilitate and verify changes in manufacturing are clearly communicated and understood
3. Work with manufacturing to ensure nonconformance’s are accurately documented
4. Assist with incoming material inspections / sampling
5. Help identify, isolate and quickly report raw material issues
6. Help facilitate Kaizen activities to reduce and eliminate root causes of human error
7. Help quickly identify and resolve quality related issues on the manufacturing lines
8. Perform Internal Quality audits
9. Help identify and reduce causes of waste in manufacturing
10. Help develop and support operator training on Quality Systems and ERP transactions
11. Help maintain Document Control
12. Data collection and report writing to help identify root cause investigation and verify effectiveness of corrective actions

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Associates degree with a Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering related focus
• 3-5 years of manufacturing or related experience.
