Job Title:Quality Assurance Tech

Drives a company vehicle daily to multifamily jobsites to inspect flooring installations done by our subcontracted flooring installers.
Reports unacceptable results and follows up on incidents to confirm resolution in a timely manner.
Identifies installation defects through the flooring inspection and, if able, remedies minor issues using Company's tools.
Logs all quality inspections and in-person customer calls.
Meets with subcontracted flooring installers in the field and at the assigned branch location to discuss installations issues.
Authorized to approve floor prep on-site.
Meets with vendor and manufacturer reps to address product recommendations, concerns, questions, and problems. Stays abreast of new product and installation methods. Participates in on-site vendor training sessions.
Conducts periodic installation education seminars (including demos) for our subcontractors, sales reps, and branch personnel.
Meets with company customers, including property managers and maintenance personnel.
Measures rooms for new flooring and creates a materials list.
Picks up and delivers material to jobsites/subcontractors, if needed.
Assists in training new sales reps on installation and repair methods.
Performs all other duties assigned by management.
This role should possess the following qualifications:
Being fluent in both English is Spanish is preferred, although not required.
Able to perform floor covering repairs if the need arises.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs when delivering materials as needed.
Prior knowledge and experience in carpet and vinyl flooring materials and related supplies are a plus, although not mandatory.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to possess some dexterity in operating office equipment. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods of time; stand; walk; sit; bend; stoop; reach with hands and arms; and frequently walk around the office. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The employee may regularly be required to work some evenings.
The employee must have the ability to travel extensively on a frequent basis by driving a personal vehicle, by commercial air travel, or by ride-share. The duties of this position will often require the employee to work in non-temperature controlled warehouse environments which may be dirty, dusty or otherwise uncomfortable.
