Sullivan Family of Companies is Hiring an IT Service Desk Technician (#99, Honolulu) Near Honolulu, HI

We are seeking an entry level candidate with 1 or more years of service desk (help desk) support experience to join our team as an IT Service Desk Technician. The IT Service Desk Technician is an organized, self-motivated, and positive individual who takes ownership of job responsibilities. Dedication to providing outstanding customer service is essential for a successful candidate.

Job Duties

  • Answer end user telephone calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner
  • Accurately record incident information using the Service Desk ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot point-of-sale, application, hardware, telephone, and network incidents
  • Escalate incidents to level 2 based on initial troubleshooting
  • Computer and general IT equipment repairs
  • Load Windows computers and applications based on specified company configurations
  • Prepare point-of-sale system equipment
  • Travel to company locations to perform break/fix work and troubleshoot incidents related to hardware, services, and network

Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • Associate degree, A , or similar technical certification preferred
  • 1 or more years of service desk (help desk) experience
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience
  • Experience with PC hardware
  • Remote application support
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills on the telephone and in person

Other:

  • Applicant must be able to lift, push, pull, carry 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed
  • Applicant must have a valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to travel to neighbor islands as needed
