Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant General Manager who posses strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the efficient and effective operation of our wellness yoga studio. As the AGM, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the studio, managing administrative tasks, and fostering a positive and welcoming environment for our members and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Studio Management Support:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the yoga studio, including, staff management, and facilities maintenance.
  • Ensure all studio spaces are clean, well-maintained, organized and equipped for smooth operations.
  • Customer Experience:
  • Greet and assist members and guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Address member inquiries, concerns, and feedback with kindness and professionalism.
  • Facilitate an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that members feel valued and supported.
  • Staff Management Support:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise front desk staff, instructors, and support personnel (including volunteers).
  • Schedule staff shifts, manage time off requests, and ensure adequate staffing levels for classes and events.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of overall useful data using studio management software.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional efforts, such as social media updates and event coordination.
  • Inventory and Supplies:
  • Monitor and order studio supplies, ensuring that yoga props, cleaning supplies, and retail items are well-stocked.
  • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and maintain cost-efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in yoga studio management or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Resilient and strong personality equipped to stay calm in a bustling environment.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and initiative taking skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team with kindness and empathy.
  • Proficiency in using studio management software and basic office tools.
  • Passion for yoga and a commitment to promoting health and wellness.
