Subaru South Charlotte is Hiring a Title Clerk Near Pineville, NC

We are growing!
Subaru South Charlotte is seeking an additional highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Title Clerk. This is a full-time position in the auto industry located in Pineville, North Carolina. As a Title Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of all vehicle titles. This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Controller.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $38000.0. per year, paid biweekly. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Process all vehicle titles for sold and trade-in vehicles
- Verify accuracy of all title and registration information for each transaction
- Submit required documentation to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in a timely manner
- Communicate with sales and finance departments to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately
- Update and maintain title and registration logs and records
- Monitor and track vehicle title status for both sales departments
- Follow up with customers on outstanding titles and registrations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all dealership policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Knowledge of DMV policies and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
