With the opening of our 13 acre 75,000 square foot facility, Subaru of Gwinnettt is in need of Sales Associates, Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Counter Consultants. Subaru of Gwinnett has been in business for 20 years.

Responsibilities

  • Understands & demonstrates Subaru & it’s vehicles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
  • Develops buyers by maintaining rapport through follow up with previous customers and well-timed equity mining
  • Understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
  • Completing sales with compassion and a focus on a fair profit.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in Foundations training; educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
  • Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Daily follow-up with potential customers via online customer management system using phone, email and text.

Qualifications

  • Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product in’s & out’s
  • Fantastic communication skills with your customers
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
  • All applicants must have a clean driving record and must be insurable
  • All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

About the Screening Process
Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in Subaru of Gwinnett normal screening process which includes completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal, credit and, where applicable, driving records checks; in-person interviews and other inquiries.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret: simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and documents.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, schedule, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Physical demands include: frequently position body and move in order to greet clients and explain vehicle features; drive vehicles; detect and identify vehicle issues and safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 20lbs occasionally, 10lbs frequently); operate equipment; repetitive motion.
  • Work is conducted inside, outside, and in proximity to moving vehicles.
