**Boston, Chestnut Hill, Store Manager**

at STUDS Boston, Massachusetts Studs is an experiential retail and e-commerce brand that has re-imagined the ear piercing experience. Studs mission is to empower bold self-expression and inclusive community through earscaping with safe and healthy ear piercings and the best curated destination of earrings.

Based in Boston , the Store Manager will report to the District Manager and will oversee the in store experience. You will be responsible for the daily performance and operation of the store while providing amazing customer experience and driving sales. This role will collaborate closely with the CX and Retail Operations Teams and will manage Store Associates and Piercers.

**Salary:** $70,000-$80,000

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Build a phenomenal team: Hire and train store associates and collaborate on hiring and training piercers. Create a performance-oriented culture by setting clear expectations and targets, and giving appropriate and prompt feedback.

* Own the store performance: oversee implementation of SOPs, staffing plan, and customer experience.

* With HQ, deliver a world class customer experience (including answering customer inquiries, issuing refunds/returns, scheduling appointments, etc)

* Oversee maintenance and facilities. Track and update store budget.

* Ensure inventory accuracy partnering with the Fulfillment Team, and oversee ordering and maintenance of store and piercing supplies.

* Report on daily and weekly store metrics and KPIs.

* Own scheduling and payroll for the store.

* Contribute to Studs social/content strategy.

**Requirements:**

* 3-5 years of retail management experience; experience with jewelry, piercing or a service or hospitality business is a plus.

* Youre an excellent communicator who can build relationships with people of all backgrounds.

* You act like an owner: if something isnt working, you fix it and you constantly find ways to improve the business taking feedback from the team and customers and translating it into action items.

* Youre flexible and comfortable with the gray areas that come hand-in-hand with startups.

* You have a passion for earrings and piercing; interest in digital innovation, and community-building is a plus.

* Driven, creative problem solver that consistently acts with integrity, speaks up, and assumes best intentions.

* Owners mindset, with the ability to approach feedback and problems with a positive attitude.
