Senior Product Manager (Discovery, SEO & Experimentation) (viagogo Inc., New York, NY)

Develop and iterate on recommendation and personalization Machine Learning algorithms for the Discovery Experience using various data science techniques, including but not limited to linear regression, random forest models, and K-means clustering. Handle event and ticket discovery, recommendation, and selection processes for users on company domains. Generate Ticket Price Predictions using Time Series Machine Learning models to predict the expected sale price for all inventory at any point in time. Design, run, and analyze multivariate experiments across all pages of the Discovery Experience with the goal of increasing revenue. Develop discovery, Search Engine Optimization (SEO, and experimentation roadmap, strategy, and day-to-day project management. Develop internal decision-making framework for SEO multivariate experimentation using Monte Carlos Simulations and Time Series forecasting models to enable measurement of impact to SEO of changes to the website and sitemap. Maintain reporting and monitoring of SEO performance for websites via Google Search Console. Identify key growth initiatives for SEO channel growth as a compliment to existing Performance Marketing Optimization. Work with Data Scientists to further develop framework to increase speed and accuracy of insight via experimentation tooling, as well as validate the business impact to any changes via Simulations of Revenue impact. Maintain work plan for changes to the underpinning logic to better serve business needs. Research and investigate the impact to multivariate experimentation insight & velocity between Bayesian and Frequentist statistical frameworks and develop roadmap for experimentation based on the outcome. Calculate the compounding impact to conversion rate and Gross Profit of sequential multivariate experiments with confidence intervals using Monte Carlos Simulations to the business revenues and report of the company growth via multivariate experimentation. Telecommuting is permitted 1 day per week. When not telecommuting, must report to viagogo Inc. at 3 World Trade Center – 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, NY 10007. Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 per year.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Data Science, Mathematics, or related field plus 5 years of professional experience as a Product Manager, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving product management.

In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, employer will accept a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Data Science, Mathematics, or related field plus 3 years of professional experience as Product Manager, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving product management.

Must also have experience with the following special skills: 3 years of professional experience developing Machine Learning algorithms using linear regression, random forest models, and K-means clustering, as well as drawing statistical inferences to inform business decisions, automate operation work, and build logic for use in production features; 3 years of professional experience performing marketing bid optimization, including developing strategy for bidding algorithms that control marketing spend; 3 years of professional experience performing marketing content optimization, including developing strategy for marketing content optimization including text; 3 years of professional experience developing experimentation frameworks to enable multivariate content experiments as well as execute updates to millions of adverts across marketing platforms efficiently to enable real time updates to global marketing campaigns; and 3 years of professional experience creating training models to predict expected value of clicks from marketing platforms to be used in bid calculation algorithms used by bidding software, as well as monitoring the execution of bidding applications.
