Part-time Electronics Lab Technician

We have an urgent need for a part-time, temporary electronics laboratory technician who can help us manually build/modify PCBs.

Responsibilities:

• Work in person in our downtown centrally located Boulder lab
• Assist with product upgrade, modification and testing
• Manually modify a large number of PCB boards
• Perform surface mounted PCB soldering
• Lead the internal RMA process
• Assist the engineering team in application testing as requested

Requirements:

• Experience with soldering at the PCB level removing and adding components using a microscope
• Experience operating Class III lasers and electronic benchtop equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, consistently following requirements
• Experience working in a laboratory environment

Location:

This position is based in our US headquarters, located in downtown Boulder, CO.

Salary & Hours:

This is a 15-20 hour per week part-time temporary position to be performed in person at our Boulder, CO office. The compensation rate is $20/hr. Although this is a temporary position, strong candidates may be considered for permanent employment as company needs allow. The application window will close June 1, 2024 or as soon as a candidate is hired.
