Struck Insurance Services is Hiring a Health Insurance Customer Service Representative Near Modesto, CA

Job Description

Our fun and friendly office is looking to hire a detail-oriented, computer-savvy individual for a health insurance customer service position. The ideal candidate will need to be a quick learner, professional on the phone, and have an upbeat and positive attitude.

In this role, you will interact directly with our customers to answer questions, solve problems, provide education, enroll and renew policies, and maintain our company’s reputation for high-quality service. You will need to be open to growth and learn quickly while you’re being trained.

An insurance license will be required for this position so successfully passing a background check will be a condition of employment.

At Struck Insurance Services, we’re a fun and relaxed office but we care deeply about our coworkers and doing our work exceptionally well.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly respond to all customer questions.
  • Utilize company policies and procedures to process enrollments and terminations.
  • Suggest insurance solutions to meet our customers’ specific needs.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with our customers.
  • Create client documents including proposals, reports and spreadsheets.
  • Go the extra mile to help your coworkers with an upbeat and positive attitude.

Requirements

  • Hold or be able to obtain a CA Department of Insurance Life & Health Insurance License.
  • Have insurance experience and 3 or more years of customer service experience.
  • Detail oriented, well organized and ability to prioritize work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Programs including Outlook & Excel.
  • Once properly trained, work in a team but with minimal direction.
  • Positive and service-oriented attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
