Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Coordinator to join our team. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging activities for residents in our nursing home facility. Your role will involve creating a positive and stimulating environment that promotes socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.
Duties:
- Develop and implement a variety of activities and programs to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents
- Plan and organize events, outings, and special celebrations
- Coordinate with staff members to ensure activities are integrated into the daily routine
- Provide individualized attention to residents with specific needs such as memory care or dementia care
- Collaborate with the care team to assess residents' interests, abilities, and preferences
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members regarding upcoming events and activities
- Stay updated on aging issues counseling techniques and incorporate them into activity planning
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
