Strickland & Sons Pipeline, Inc. is Hiring a Construction Project Coordinator Near Gainesville, GA

Strickland & Sons Pipeline, Inc. is a reputable general contractor located in Northeast Georgia. Since 1987, our company has been efficiently handling various projects. These projects include pipelines, commercial and residential land development, road construction, and many other areas of civil construction. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Coordinator to assist our Project Managers.

Position Summary:

SSP is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to assist our Project Managers in the successful execution of our construction projects. The primary responsibility of this person would be to partner with the Project Managers on assigned projects to ensure the project is completed on time, on budget, and aligned with quality standards. An ideal candidate would have very strong communication skills and have an understanding of corporate and industry practices and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and submit accurate project invoices to clients. This includes collaborating with the Controller to resolve billing discrepancies and answering client inquiries regarding invoices.

· Assist in preparing change order requests and monitoring conversion to contract change orders and/or contract amendments.

· Assist in performing frequent job costing analysis, cost projections and cost reports.

· Maintain organized records of all contract documents and correspondence.

· Track contract milestones and deadlines to facilitate project progress and payment schedules.

· Attend and participate in project meetings.

· Keep strong and constant communication with Project Manager of project progress, concerns, and/or issues.

· Assist in the development of project files.

· Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the Project Manager, or by Management.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of two years of experience in construction industry, or applicable experience.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Must be able to travel regionally.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work as a part of a team and individually.

· Personal maturity in understanding their impact on project activities and the effect that can have on corporate relationships with clients.
