This position is located in the Permian Basin - preferably Midland or Odessa

The Stream-Flo Valve Business Unit offers check valves, including API 6D pipeline swing check valves to 48”, trunnion and floating ball valves, piston checks, wafer checks and axial flow checks up to 60” to Pipeline and Midstream customers. We are looking for knowledgeable sales people to support our expanding client base. 

Key position functions include:

• Provide sales and technical knowledge for Stream-Flo’s Valve Business Unit, focusing on end user oil and gas companies, pipeline owners and operators, specification influencers and major pipeline procurement companies.
  • Represent the company’s products and services to existing and potential customer in a professionally and technically competent manner. This includes trade shows, and other industry functions.
  • Develop strong rapport with key customer representatives by providing excellent customer service.
  • Identify customer/industry requirements concerning new products and applications and communicate information to Sales and Operations management.
  • Provide technical and commercial product training to end users.
  • Participate in establishing strategic direction related to sales and marketing focus, product development and/or customer specific strategies.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of product specifications and application, create presentations, and present information to customers..
  • Maintain clear records of customer communication and activity..

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

• Sales and technical knowledge/experience required relating to check valves and ball valves (floating ball and trunnion, DBB, DIB1, and DIB2) features and benefits, valve specification and applications for these products in the oil and gas markets.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal and customer service skills. Engineering or technical background is an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude – able to understand the design and function of valves.
• Highly self-motivated and well organized.
• Preferred candidate will have 3-5 years experience selling valves in the oil and gas markets.
