Stratford Hills Veterinary Center is Hiring a Veterinary Receptionist - Richmond, VA Near Richmond, VA

Who we are

The Stratford Hills Veterinary Center, a well-established, small animal, general practice, is seeking to add an experienced Client Service Representative/receptionist to our friendly team. 

Our receptionists are often the first and last impression for visitors to our hospital and we rely on them to provide outstanding customer service to our clients. Main responsibilities include but not be limited to: 

  • Managing Multiple Phone lines 
  • Communicating with the public in a cordial, calm, and knowledgeable manner 
  • Accurately maintaining paperless records 
  • Clearly communicating with team members 
  • Booking appointments and maintaining the flow of the day-to-day schedule
  • Managing the intake of payments for services
  • Communicating discharge instructions to clients 
  • Dispensing and having a basic understanding of routine medications and preventatives

Fear Free certification and knowledge of Avimark software is beneficial but not a requirement. Top priority will be given to candidates that have experience in the field, but we would be happy to train the right person. Our ideal candidate is caring and compassionate, personable, reliable, an amazing communicator, both verbally and digitally, can follow directions clearly, shows great attention to detail, loves to learn, has strong computer skills, and is a team player.
