Job Summary A FIVE YEAR APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM : Sheet Metal Workers fabricate and install metal ducts, which are used in ventilating, air conditioning, and heating systems.

They also fabricate and install a wide variety of other products made from thin metal sheets, such as roofing and siding, commercial stainless-steel kitchen equipment, partitions, sheet metal shelves in industrial applications, store fronts, and chutes used for movement of material.

Sheet Metal Workers cut the metal with hand snips, power shears, and other types of cutting tools. Apprenticeship is a training program in which students are trained to become competent craftsmen in the competitive and lucrative field of construction.

Sheet Metal Worker Apprentices attend school during the day and are compensated for their attendance. The trade of sheet metal is a very diverse trade which can provide opportunities to members which are matched by no other program.

When submitting your application you will need to provide a photo ID and $50 dollars cash or card to get scheduled for our next testing date.

Our next testing date is scheduled for 6 / 21 / 2022, applications need to be turned in by 6 / 16 / 2022 to guarantee a spot for the test.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE SHEET METAL EXPERIENCE? : That's okay!! During the interview process you will be asked about any experience you have when it comes to sheet metal or construction in general.

If you don't have any experience we recommend applying for our Pre-Apprenticeship Program also. This is an opportunity to start working with our contractors while trying to get into the apprenticeship program and gives you the hands on experience that we are seeking in the interview process.

You can be a pre-apprentice for a period of up to one year while you are trying to get in the apprenticeship program. To be eligible for the pre-apprenticeship you must first apply and get scheduled to test for the apprenticeship program. Powered by JazzHR
