Job Opening – Engineering Manager with Pioneer Cladding & Glazing Systems in Baltimore, MD

As the Engineering Manager with Pioneer, you will manage projects and coach employees to produce cost-effective drawings which result in the most efficient fabrication and field installation processes. Lead engineering staff, provide regular and ongoing performance feedback and coach employees to reach their potential. Coordinate resource needs with the Director of Engineering and assist in hiring talent and procuring resources. Support team in designing building envelopes, fenestration, and other interior and exterior architectural elements including but not limited to unitized curtain walls, entrances, punched windows, coping and interior partitions using computer aided design (CAD) software to meet customer requirements and comply with company and industry standards and governmental regulations. Champion the development, improvement, maintenance and/or implementation of company processes and standards.

The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must also have:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering and 10 years of relevant fenestration drafting experience OR Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Design and Drafting or related field and 12 years' relevant fenestration drafting experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with 3-D modeling technology
• Previous supervisory/team lead experience and project management experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic engineering and architectural principles related to different types of structures (e.g., poured concrete, steel, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and have successfully worked in a fast-paced environment
• Curtainwall experience is preferred
