Strategic Financial Advisors is Hiring a Controller - Construction Near Snohomish, WA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This is a key leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger accounting
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning initiatives
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial guidance and support decision-making processes
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Utilize accounting software (such as , QuickBooks, Sage) to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as requested by management

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Experience with financial report writing and analysis
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
