Job Description

IT Help Desk Support Joint Expeditionary Base–Little Creek (JEB–LC), VA 23518 Schedule: 0800-1630 M-F EDT Salary Negotiable - Full-Time with Benefits Responsibilities: • Setting up new users and giving them access to Salesforce. • Managing and maintaining the users in Salesforce, including Public Group User Management.  • Assist with setting up Outlook Email Profiles.  • Install necessary certs on machines for full functionality to specific Outlook folders.  • Monitoring and identity Network capabilities to report for latency or outages. • Create, submit, and track all SAARs for employees to gain access to all required systems on the NMCI network.  • Act as a liaison between the user and the U.S. Navy System owners.  • Assist with user incident resolution and provide incident reports to leadership.  • Assist and track in the procurement and accountability of I.T. assets.  • Connect, Reconnect, or move workstations on the network.  • Offer basic technical support and troubleshooting help with the computers for Tier 1 users. • Submit and track all I.T. related tickets I.E. (Salesforce, SNOW) Also issues related to systems/applications such as BOL, Outlook, NSIPS, and so forth.  Requirements: • Active Secret Security Clearance • BA in Information Technology or Computer Science and Engineering (Preferred) OR at least 1-2 years in the field.  • CompTIA Security Certification • Strong attention to detail • Communication skills  • Ability to explain technical concepts to inexperienced users • Time management skills
