Looking for a Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice to work in Massachusetts. In the position you will assist Licensed Sprinkler Fitters on the job site with handling pipe, fittings, valves, and other material. Must possess a strong willingness to learn about the design and installation of different fire sprinkler systems.

Pay is $25-30 an hour

Responsibilities:

• Have an understanding of the basic of sprinklers
• Working on plastic
• work efficiently with minimal supervision under direction of Sprinkler Tech
• must be able to use basic hand tools
• Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude and problem solve skills

• Prepare sprinkler pipe, using threader when needed, and stock truck with inventory required to perform the job.
• Work efficiently and utilize resources to complete jobs in a timely manner.
• Manage inventory and tools for each job to assure proper parts and tools are on hand.
• Manage the installation jobsite in an efficient and safe manner keeping it clean, organized, & professional.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Fire sprinkler fitting: 1 year (Preferred)
• This applicant must be 18 years of age or older and hold a valid driver’s license along with reliable transportation to work every day.
• Must be willing to travel to any location within New England or work any shift at the request of the company
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs continuously for a full work day.
• Fire Sprinkler Apprentice Card (Preferred)
