Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for an Associate Manager of Emergency Services.
The Associate Manager of Emergency Services-Urgent Care is a visionary position with responsibility for assurance of quality patient care of the Urgent Cares along with supporting the Emergency Services Manager. This position supports a collaborative approach to patient-centered care through the management of a multi-disciplined team. This position is responsible for assessing patient care needs, setting objectives, planning, and directing activities of the assigned areas. This position also performs projects designed to promote excellence within the department and works cooperatively with the medical staff and managers of other departments within the Patient Services areas. Directly reports to and supports the ED/RT Manager. On occasion, this position may be responsible for staffing the UCs.
Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
Currently licensed by the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
Current BLS certification on hire, ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is required every two years. Epic training will be provided.
Basic Computer competency skills are expected for this position. All Stoughton Hospital employees have e-mail access, and many use a PC to send and retrieve work e-mail; reference internal websites, access electronic health records, and use online learning tools to remain current with continuing education requirements.
