Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). The Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for the patient in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status. As APRN, you will support Cardiology, Wound and Stress Testing clinic visits. APRN assumes responsibility and care and education to patients and their families. This position would provide direct assistance to Cardiology during their clinic and needs to embody the care and compassion delivered by the team. The entire team will work collaboratively to ensure optimal quality, experience, and efficiency. Candidate must be able to multi-task and be flexible in learning and handling a variety of duties.

Required Education: Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, Master’s Degree in Nursing.

Professional Experience: Requires two years of relevant experience

Licensure: Currently licensed by the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.

Certification: Current certification with Drug Enforcement Administration. Current BLS and ACLS certification on hire or within 90 days of hire.
