The role of the Shutter Installer is to provide quality customer experience through installation, maintenance and repairs to a wide range of residential Storm Shutters and associated equipment for Southwest, FL North Port, FL to Tampa, FL

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation, repair and servicing of all types of Storm Shutters
  • Fault find/diagnose and repair common and more complex problems
  • Accurate measurement of replacement parts
  • Willing to be flexible with hours with potential early starts or after hours work in order to cater for client’s requests or construction site hours.

The role of the Shutter Installer to provide quality customer satisfaction through installation, maintenance and repairs to a wide range of residential Storm Shutters and associated equipment.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • 3-5 years in Hurricane Protection Shutter Installation a plus
  • Carpentry experience a must.
  • Must have your own truck and tools.
  • Mechanically minded, with the ability to stand back and assess the situation before commencing work
  • Strong fault-finding skills and rectification of mechanical issues and basic electrical problems, minimizing the need to go back on jobs
  • Excellent Customer Service skills as you will be engaging with our client and other vendors when necessary.
  • Ability to work in a hot, humid environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to analyze and solve problems as they arise.
  • A self-starter and ability to work unsupervised as well as within a team
  • Abide by the conditions of employment to insure the integrity of the company’s operation.
  • Abide by all government and company regulations and standards of performance

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License without any moving violations or suspensions in the past 5 years.
  • Ability to provide legal documentation to prove eligibility to work in the United States
