Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and professional hostess/host to join our team and be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate should be able to welcome guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure that guests are seated promptly.

Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Take reservations and manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and provide information about the restaurant
- Maintain a clean and organized host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Knowledge of food service or restaurant operations is a plus
- Familiarity with Toast POS is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences
