In an exciting time of change and growth, as our new Enterprise Architect, you will be an important part of StoneX’s Core IT ensuring alignment with our internal and external customers. As a member of the Architecture & Modernisation department, you'll lead the shaping of the IT Strategy, thoroughly document the 'as is' architecture, and map out our future needs. You will be exposed to the full gamut of Technology, including Development, Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security, and will be instrumental in getting us to the best future state. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Development: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap that aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives.
• Innovation: Drive innovation mindset in existing architecture and lead the way for the evolution of new products and platforms developed by the business. Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on the organization.
• Communicate: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business objectives.
• Standardise: Develop, improve, and implement standards, policies and principles across IT
• Get buy-in: Work and communicate the vision to senior stakeholders and all engineering levels
• Build the future: Architecting solutions that replace and retire legacy solutions within Core IT
• Share your knowledge: Work closely with our development leadership to help share knowledge and improve the quality of practices
• Advocacy: Provide advocacy for all Core IT capabilities to the rest of the business
• Define and measure: Define and drive collection and analysis of KPIs / KRIs
• People: Build strong relationships with leaders inside and outside of the division

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in an IT architecture role within the financial services industry, with at least 3 years in an enterprise architect capacity.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles and frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman
• Strong ability to work between engineering and business environments, with a natural ability to focus on mission-critical business goals via technology
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), enterprise integration patterns, and microservices architectures.
• Proficient in the use of modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx Enterprise Architect) to represent and develop architecture models.
• Ability to use judgment based on ambiguous data, analysis, and experience to make business decisions
