As a Stonerise Registered Nurse (RN), you are a critical member of a patient’s skilled care team at our transitional and skilled nursing care centers (also called “nursing homes”), where we serve both short-term and long-term patients.

As a Stonerise Registered Nurse (RN), some of your primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supervising nursing functions, as well as communicating daily information about patient care and wellbeing and assisting with daily assignments
  • Assisting in nursing personnel orientation and training, along with continuously addressing educational needs through one-on-one education
  • Making rounds to assess patient conditions and ensure individual care plans are followed and updated as well as monitoring or carrying out medication and treatment administration
  • Participating in clinical meetings, leadership meetings and patient care meetings, providing recommendations about nursing processes and assisting in the development and implementation of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities
  • Responding to any emergencies that take place during the shift, recognizing and identifying symptoms to make decisions in the event of an emergency
  • Performing complex technical and professional skills such as assessment, education, and crisis intervention

  • Valid license as a Registered Nurse from the state in which services are provided
