Our team is a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication skills to liaison between doctors and clients and deliver post-operative care instructions. We are a fun, compassionate group who strive for a positive work environment.
Expectations:
Prep patients for surgery, including placing IV catheters, intubation, shaving, scrubbing, positioning, and recovering patients.
Perform blood draws and submit bloodwork.
Obtain patient histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.
Fill medications.
Create patient releases, navigate client conversations around treatment plans and financial obligations.
Skills:
State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred but not required.
Prior veterinary experience required and previous surgery experience desired.
Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player.
