Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate
Duties:
- Prepare and produce a variety of food items, including pastries, cakes, and other desserts
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and creativity
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking ingredients
- Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and specials
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and fulfilling special requests
Requirements:
- 5 years previous experience in a similar role within the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong pastry skills, including cake decorating techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and preparation
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Flexibility to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Catering experience is a plus
