Stingray Pressure Pumping is Hiring an Electronics Technician Near Yukon, OK

General Purpose of Position: Responsible for the day to day maintenance and operations of communication instrumentation for fracturing equipment.


Essential Job Duties:

1. Perform duties according to the documented Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Place Instructions.
2. Perform basic soldering and wiring termination techniques.
3. Build, repair, and maintain instrumentation and communication cables utilized on the fracturing equipment.
4. Read and understand electrical drawings and schematics, explain the connection symbols, and identify connections, components and terminal points.
5. Understand the basic function, connection and communication capability of all equipment utilized in the fracturing process.
6. Perform basic maintenance of computer systems including software and hardware updates.
7. Complete basic preventive maintenance and visual inspections using authorized procedures, standardized forms, and reporting media.
8. Maintain daily work logs, paperwork requirements, and work orders as required.
9. Travel to job locations and perform emergency repairs on electronics and instrumentation.
10. Install and configure electronic equipment, instrumentation and software.
11. Communicate details and directions in a clear and coherent manner.


Additional Job Duties:

1. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of Ohm's law.
3. Problem solving skills.
4. Knowledge of electronic test equipment and tools.
5. Ability to read equipment prints and schematics to perform competent troubleshooting.
6. 1-3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of instrumentation, such as: flowmeters, transducers, densitometers and controllers.
7. Work flexible schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.
8. Must have a telephone and the ability to be on 24 hour call.
9. Required to attend jobs at customer locations.


Environment:
Frequent exposure to outdoor elements including wet, humid conditions and extreme heat or cold.
