We are looking for a highly motivated, professional candidate for our corporate office to join our small, fast growing Medicare Certified Home Health Care agency located in Cordova TN , Shelby County.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create 485 report with the DOPS's supervision and in accordance with the OASIS analysis recommendations and submission to CMS in a timely manner
• Review and QA other clinicians' documentation and visit notes to ensure accuracy and compliance with plan of care orders (POC)
• Coordinate and communicate with office staff and field RNs, therapists and physicians to ensure POC compliance
• Assist DOPS with patient care, medical records and quality analysis related matters
• Report deficiencies to appropriate clinical staff for corrections and follow up to ensure proper completion.
• Participates in Quality Improvement and Corporate Compliance activities as assigned
• Ensures compliance with Medicare, CMS, state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge as required.

Qualifications:

Must be high school graduate, medical assistants preferred, have excellent organizational skills and have the ability to work well with others in a diverse and active environment. The ability to work in a cooperative and accepting manner with others is essential. Computer knowledge is a must and good understanding of the medical terminologies.
