Food Service SubstituteStevens Point Area Public School DistrictDays/Times will varyJoin our team of 1100 staff in beautiful family-friendly Stevens Point, Wisconsin. We offer K-12 education across several communities and are one of the largest districts in Wisconsin, consisting of:*Nine elementary schools*Two junior high schools*One senior high school*Point of Discovery Charter School*Charles Fernandez Center (alternative high school)*Boston School Forest*Online Learning Center *4K programEssential Functions:- Preparation of food items on site.- Serving of food to school children and staff using portion control guidelines.- Complete cleanup and sanitation of food service and dish room area including cafeteria tables, dishwashing manual and mechanical, and pot and pan washing.

Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED and minimal experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Neat, good personal hygiene, good math skills, pleasant personality and ability to work under pressure.-- Ability to relate well to students, staff and co-workers.- Previous experience desirable.- On-going attendance at food service related workshops and classes desirable.
