Sterling State Bank is seeking to hire a qualified candidate for the position of Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Branch Office located in Savage, MN.

Additional responsibilities and skills required include:

• Expand customer relationships both inside and outside of the branch.
• Build long-term banking relationships with new and existing customers through the sale of deposit and loan products.
• Assist customers in opening and maintaining deposit accounts, processsing transactions at the teller line, handling bank IRA products, debit and credit cards, limited consumer lending and supporting branch operations.

Ideal candidates will possess some of the following experience:

• Effective sales ability and persuasiveness
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in bank information systems and standard business software preferred

This position offers a consistent, full-time schedule (40 hours per week, M-F) with no Saturday shifts required. Professional benefits package included (health care, paid vacation, 401k).
