PRN Speech Therapist

Location: Pearland, TX

Job Summary

The PRN Speech Therapist will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. The therapist will work with patients of all ages who have communication and swallowing disorders, and will develop treatment plans to help them improve their speech and language skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' speech and language abilities
• Develop treatment plans based on patients' needs
• Provide therapy to patients in individual or group settings
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech therapy

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state license to practice as a Speech Therapist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
