We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a physical therapist assistant . As a physical therapist assistant, you will provide support to physical therapists during sessions.

This includes assisting with massages, maintaining clean treatment areas, and setting up therapy equipment.

Description :

The physical therapist assistant plays a crucial role in helping patients achieve their treatment goals. This includes administering manual physical exercises, guiding patients through non-manual exercises and daily activities, and providing high-quality care.

You will also assist in evaluating and interpreting test results, creating treatment plans, and documenting patient care services.

Compliance with legal and professional requirements is essential in this role. Your responsibilities will include :

• Visiting orthopedic patients in their homes for follow-up sessions
• Ensuring continued eligibility for home health services
• Providing maintenance therapy
• Driving to patient locations

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program

California state licensure

At least 1 year of experience as a physical therapist assistant in a home health setting

Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
